Mapping keys in normal mode
- :map - dd
- Delete a line with '-' instead of 'dd'
You can use <keyname> to tell Vim about special keys
- :map <space> viw
- Select visually a word and then insert 'w' in place
- :map <c-d> dd
- Press ctrl-d to run 'dd'
- :map <space> viw " Select word — commenting won't work
- Map "-" key to delete the current line, then paste it below
- :map - ddp
- Map the "_" key to move the line up
- :map _ ddkP
